Day 01 ( Explore Gangtok)
Arrive at the Bagdogra airport near Gangtok and spend the day discovering the magnificent sights of Gangtok – the capital of the state of Sikkim.
Day 02 ( Excursions around Gangtok)
Post breakfast embark on an excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), Nathula & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft). For the night, return to Gangtok and get ready for the next day.
Day 03 (Discover Gangtok some more)
After breakfast, embark on sightseeing full day tour of Gangtok covering Enchey Monastery, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Handicraft Centre, Jhakri Waterfalls, Ganesh Tak, Hanuman Tak, Tashi View Point and Flower Show. Again, spend the night in Gangtok.
Day 04 ( From Gangtok to Pelling)
Day 4 will be spent in transferring from Gangtok to Pelling in Sikkim. Once there, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure – rest or go out sightseeing.
Day 05 ( Precious Pelling)
Enjoy an early breakfast and then embark on a sightseeing tour of Pelling. Explore Darap Valley, Rimbi Water Falls, Kanchenjunga Falls, Khachoedpalri Lake. Return to hotel for lunch. Post lunch continue sightseeing tour covering - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Helipad Ground. Spend the evening again at leisure and go shopping for some stunning local handicrafts.
Day 06 (From Pelling to Darjeeling)
Known as the Queen of the Hills, Darjeeling is your next stop on this wonderful excursion. After breakfast in Pelling, head to Darjeeling and check-in as soon as you arrive. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure. Discover Chowrastha – also known as The Mall. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 07 ( Discover Darjeeling)
Start your day super early at 4 am. Visit Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga. At 28,208 ft., it is the world’s third highest peak! On your way back to the hotel, check out Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, and Tea Garden. The rest of the day is at leisure and can be spent however you wish.
Day 08 (Onwards and homewards!)
As you return home on the last day of the tour, don’t forget to pack your bags with all the amazing stuff you discovered in the Northeast. Carry your keepsakes and take good care of them. We hope you enjoyed your trip and will return soon!
